Harald Matthias is a Düsseldorf-based DJ and producer known for driving, percussive tech house with tribal and latin influences. His 2026 collaboration Carnaval with Vin Vega and Bellini – the project behind Samba de Janeiro – sums up his sound: latin energy, built for the modern floor.

Active in Düsseldorf’s clubs since the early 2000s, he released his first record in 2008 and returned to the studio full force in 2020. Since then his tracks have landed on Eisenwaren Music, SHAPESHIFT Records, BRAW Records, Outsiders Recordings and Palmlands, including a #9 in Beatport’s Tech House release chart for the Delante EP and nine tracks in the Beatport Hype Top 100. He has also remixed Vin Vega, Matonik and Nando Rodrigu3z.

As a DJ he stands for tech house, with room for house, deep and organic house and the occasional vinyl set – reading each crowd without ever leaving the groove. Formerly a regular guest at SILQ Düsseldorf, he has also played 3001 Düsseldorf, Kinzo Klub Berlin and Hillebrands / H26 Cologne, and guest-mixed for Deutschlandfunk Nova and Data Transmission Radio. He also hosts the House Werkstatt podcast.
